WHY TOUR WITH US?

  • AN EXPERIENCED TOUR GUIDE HAS DONE ALL THE PLANNING FOR YOU:  The same Windy City Staff that you trust to care for you and your motorcycle at your home dealership are the ones on the trip with you.  We are the dealer that rides.
  • ALL ACCOMMODATIONS ARE INCLUDED WITH VIP CHECK-IN:  No need to stress about hotel rates and availability with us booking it all for you.  When you arrive at your hotel at the end of a long day you don’t want to wait in a line at the desk.  We cut that annoying step out for you with VIP check-in.
  • A CHASE VEHICLE WILL BE ON EVERY TOUR:  We will operate a chase vehicle on all tours so you can have peace of mind that if something happens, we are there for you.
  • A PRIVATE PARTY WILL BE HOSTED ON EVERY TOUR:  What adventure would be complete without a private party where you can meet and share stories with the folks on the trip with you?
  • A FREE COMMEMORATIVE ITEM TO ALL PARTICIPANTS:  Remember your trip with a trip t-shirt, trip patch, and commemorative group photo.
  • RETURN MOTORCYCLE SHIPPING:  For those of you heading on one of our one-way trips, we make sure your bike gets home for you.

 

WHAT SHOULD I PACK?

Only you will know what you need, but this list can provide a guide.

  • Riding gear
    • Leather jacket
    • Lightweight jacket
    • 2 pairs of leather gloves, gauntlets for cold weather and normal riding gloves
    • 2 pairs of sunglasses 1 pair as a spare
    • 1 pair of clear glasses
    • Rain gear (jacket, pants & gaiters)
    • Heated jacket or warm shirt
    • Helmet  (always good to have a helmet along)
  • Clothing packing
    • 2 pairs of jeans
    • 4 pairs of socks
    • 4 pairs of underwear
    • 4 tee shirts
    • 2 long sleeve shirts
    • 1 warm shirt
    • Swim trunks/shorts
    • Pair of lounging shoes
    • hat/baseball cap
  • Misc. Essentials
    • Sunscreen
    • Toiletries

There usually are washers and dryers along the way.

 

HOW DO WE HANDLE TOLLWAYS?

Tolls are not included in the cost of the tours.  We do try and avoid as many tollways as possible.  We will stop and pay cash - each bike will be responsible for their own for payment.

 

HOW IS FUEL HANDLED?

Fuel is not included in the cost of tours.  We will make regular fuel stops - each bike will be responsible for their own payment.

 

HOW ARE ATTRACTION FEES HANDLED?

Attraction fees are not included in the cost of the tours.  Many tours will visit attractions along the way such as National Parks, etc - each participant will be responsible for their own payment.

 

DO I HAVE TO RIDE WITH THE GROUP?

No, you do not.  With all our tours you do not have to ride with the group.  We have detailed directions in our tour booklet that you receive before the start of the tour.

 

DO WE RIDE IN THE RAIN?

Yes, all our tours are rain or shine.  The lead guide watches the radar very close and will do their best to avoid bad weather.

 

RIDING IN A GROUP DO I HAVE OBEY STOP LIGHTS?

Yes, always obey the stoplights.  You are your own vehicle.  The lead guide will let the group know if they will control an intersection.

 

DRINKING & RIDING?

We will provide water and pop throughout the course of the Tour.  We will only provide beer once we get to our destinations at night.  Please drink responsibly.  You will be asked not to participate in a group ride if you are impaired.

 

LONG ARM OF THE LAW?

Although these tours can be a wild time, it also can draw attention from law enforcement.  Please be a good citizen and obey all laws.

 

CANCELLATION, REFUNDS AND REGISTRATION POLICY:

No refunds will be issued within 90 days of tour departure.  If for any reason the tour is not operated, customer will receive a full refund of payments.  A $500.00 deposit per person is required at time of registration.
